About Caviar
|
The Red Salmon Caviar supplied by Awers Inc. is a superior product, and
we are proud of both our production process as well as the delicate, savory,
and nutritious product we supply to our customers. Our Red Salmon Caviar
is produced by methods that utilize many of the traditional Russian processing
techniques. This method also adheres to the strict processing guidelines
established by the FDA and USDA, so we know our product is safe and always
has the delicate pecan flavor unique to Red Salmon Caviar.
While we know that many desire the high quality associated with Red Caviar
produced in Russia, Awers Inc. supplies a far superior and safer product.
With recent changes in the Russian government's purview, Russian manufacturers
are not obligated to follow strict government regulations regarding the
quality and safety of their Red Caviar product. Russian Red Caviar is produced
and packaged according to traditional methods. These methods mandate that
Red Caviar be handled with wooden utensils, a process that often allows
the product to be contaminated with pathogen bacteria and subsequently poses
a risk to the consumer. Russian-produced Red Caviar also uses caviar tins
made with lead-based solder, a practice banned in the United States.
While American-produced Red Caviar may not be unsafe, most American-produced
Red Caviar lacks both excellent flavor and important health benefits. First,
an excessive washing process used to separate salmon roe from its connective
tissue leaves the Red Caviar roe with a slightly sweet and watery flavor,
one that is not characteristic of top-quality Red Caviar. Second, the chemicals
and enzyme solutions draw out many of the vitamins, amino acids, minerals
and oils through the membranes of the Red Caviar roe, leaving the product
with far fewer health benefits. While the product may be safe, consumers
are not rewarded with the high quality they expect and deserve.
Fortunately, Awers Inc. provides the consumer with an excellent alternative.
Our Red Salmon Caviar does not carry possible health issues of Russian-produced
Red Caviar, yet our process still utilizes the experience and time-tested
methods of Russian technologists who work to carefully control production
at the Alaska-based plant. Our experienced producers use only the freshest
fish from Alaskan waters and process the salmon immediately, all without
stripping the roe of its flavor or health benefits. Awers Inc. is then able
to pass the fresh, top-quality Red Caviar on to customers. The Red Salmon
Caviar supplied by Awers Inc. has also been certified kosher by the Orthodox
Union, further evidence of careful screening and excellent quality.
